I am the go to one when my family needs something. If my mom needs errands done she calls me. My sister needs someone to watch the girls, of course I agree! Seriously I love my nieces! I admit sometimes I spend too much time thinking of others. Once I get to know someone and become involved in their life I care about that person with all I have. That doesn't mean I am clingy it just means if I can do something to make those I care about happy then I will. I am shy and I blush easily. I have no experience with other women so if there is a woman interested in me I hope that is ok with her. My friends tell me I wouldn't recognize flirting if it hit me in the face with a two by four. To be honest they are correct, I have never been good at flirting. I always assume someone is just being friendly and not interested in me so if you are interested and flirt please don't be offended if I don't flirt back or respond in a certain manner. After reading this weird post if anyone happens to want message me please feel free.

I hope you have a wonderful day/night.

Dear B&M, Yet another charming blog post that reaches out with compassion for repression.  In the past year I have had to retrain myself from being shy and withdrawn and towards eroding the remainder of my repression by consciously being open to the warmth of other women.  Walking about my neighborhood, I repeat with my inner voice "be open, be open, be open to flirtation and attraction from other women".  LGBTQ siblings are typically cloaked, few, and yet around us and so we must send out non-verbal queues and watch for the same to make connections.  I find myself spotting those that smile at me with greater intensity than the polite and I try to reach out with compliments and small talk.  I fashioned a rainbow ribbon streamer which when clipped to my purse announces to all cognoscenti that I am LGBTQ.  I have had several comments referencing the ribbon to confirm its visibility.  I have a little story about the ribbon at the ready on those occasions.  Although a more intimate GF has not yet been found, I have made several polite connections with other women with whom I cross paths often and it feels nice to greet and be greeted by name.  Persist, be open, and buona fortuna. Baci, Silvia
