I am so happy to have a new phone, not only can I now call people but I am allowed to use the internet again. I would like to say that I absolutely am not a fan of taking pictures of myself and really don't know how to use the front camera very well, with this being said I did tell someone I would post a picture so I apologize in advance that it is quite horrible.

yet you both look great. We all struggle with our image. And it's natural to be even more sensitive in ths kind of setting.

be well

First I would like to say thank you for reading and commenting on my blog. Second, thank you for the advice. Lastly I must say your picture is very beautiful.

I hope you have a wonderful day/night.

Ciao Booksandmusic,

Be neither unhappy nor embarrased by your nascent self portrature.  A pretty and honest viso is always pleasant.  I too hate the front camera as it has a fish-eye lens that distorts one's face while the back camera has a standard lens.  Instead I use the front camera to target, touch the flip icon to activate the rear camera, set the timer, touch the shutter release, then rotate the back camera towards myself, and wait for timer expiration.  This procedure requires practice and exeprimentation to repoint the back camera as  for the front, and eventually a true-to-life portrait can be made.  My profile portrait was made with this procedure.  I can understand if such technical issues are distasteful to you.

Baci e Abbracci,

Silvia
